GPSN Rural Working Group Farm Stay
We are incredibly excited to bring you this long-awaited event - one beautiful weekend spent at Cherrebah Resort being enriched by the wonders of rural medicine.
Academics program - you will hear fascinating stories from local rural doctors, engage in discussing mind-boggling patient cases, and get your hands dirty with our simulated emergency scenarios run by local SES and Warwick doctors.
Recreational program - an afternoon cooking session of making damper and billy tea, embarking on a night-time tractor train for stargazing and wildlife spotting, going animal feeding on the farm, and there will be the chance to participate in some awesome recreational activities (additional $45) including horse riding, quad biking or clay shooting!!
Social program - we will be making a special trip to the Stanthorpe cheese/ winery to celebrate our final day and a successful weekend of rural medicine!

Applicants: open to all medical students enrolled in an Australian university
Cost: $150 (including all accommodation, food and some activities) +/- $45 optional recreational activity (horse riding, quad biking, clay shooting)
Transport: your own transport
