FELLOWSHIP IN ADVANCED RURAL GENERAL PRACTICE (racgp)

The Fellowship in Advanced Rural General Practice (FARGP) is awarded in addition to the vocational Fellowship of the RACGP (FRACGP) and has pathways for registrars and practising general practitioners (GPs).

It provides the opportunity to learn about the specific health needs of rural and remote communities, and develop skills to meet those needs with an extra 12 months of advanced rural skills training.

Candidates have four years to complete the requirements and achieve dual RACGP fellowship (FRACGP, FARGP).
